Butter. We all love it...even those of us that should love it a little less according to the fit of our clothes.

I used to make butter sandwiches when I was little. Thick wheat bread slathered with butter and smashed together was a favorite treat when I would come home from school. Yep, I'm a lover of the butter.

Compound Butters - Cinnamon MolassesSo when I saw this tube of Cinnamon Molasses butter laying on the corporate kitchen counter during Wed bagel day this morning, I thought hmm. I was not tempted though, until another gal tried some and pronounced it just like Cinnamon Toast or 'your grandmother's cinnamon rolls'. Well Grandma never made cinnamon rolls, it was more like arroz con pollo, but I can imagine how good they would have been since her cooking skills are sick.

I slathered some on and made my way back to my corporate cube. The first bite...HOLY CRAP! This stuff is the bomb. One of my other coworkers guiltily showed up in the kitchen with a 1/4 of a bagel saying she had already had one but that butter was so good she had to have another tiny bit.

According to one of my coworkers, a neighbor of someone here makes these and gave them some samples. Gosh, I wish I had neighbors like that. Locally made, fatty, flavored butter? Sign me up.

I wish they sold not just in bulk but if they had a variety pack in bulk, I WOULD BUY IT!!!!! Garlic chive butter? That would be amazing on a thick juicy grilled steak. Orange ginger? Mix that into some cream cheese frosting for a tangy kick. And yes, the Cinnamon Molasses. Catch me sneaking into the kitchen for another 1/4? Heck no, I'm having me a 1/2.

Compound Butters - Parmesan GarlicI love to cook. I am not amazing by any means but I have the heart for it because I always want tokeep trying until I get the reciepe just right. My roommates (my husband and his brother) definitely say their prayers before they dig in to my meals. I personally think they are begging God to spare them from death by eating my food. :) I bought two of the butters to start out with.. the paremsean garlic and the chive garlic ones. I made pasta with italian sausage. When I drained the pasta, I normally put butter and then italian seasoning in the pasta to give it flavor and dress up the pasta. Instead of putting those two ingrediants, I just used the parmesean garlic butter. It was DELICIOUS!! Not only did it add tremendous flavor to the pasta but it also gave it a great color so it looked yummy on the dish. I also used the parmesean garlic and the chive garlic on the french bread. Talk about garlic bread.... this just made normal garlic bread feel like it is from McDonalds and the Gourmet Butters garlic bread feel like it is from the best italian resturaunt in Italy! The boys were praising me throughout the whole dinner!! IT IS ABOUT TIME!! Thank you to the master minds behind this amazing product. You make us wanna be chefs look like we actually know what we are doing!! I have told people at work and now they have all saved your website and will be making their own orders! Keep up the yummy work! I can\'t not wait to see what more flavors you will think of next.

Compound Butters - Garlic ChiveI baked my 2 1/2 lbs rainbow trout in your Gourmet Garlic Chive Butter is was outstanding. I squeezed lemon all over the inside of the trout and left the wedges on the inside while baking, then melted your Gourmet Garlic Chive Butter and poured that all over the inside and out. I baked it in the oven for 25 mins in a 375*. After it was cooked I peel off the skin and I melted a little more Gourmet Garlic Chive butter and poured that on the cooked trout and a little squeeze of lemon with a little salt and pepper, and it was outstanding. We\' ll be sure to try some of your other Gourmet Butters now that we were so happy with this one. Thank you very much, so yummy.

Compound Butters - Citrus HerbWhat incredible flavors! This evening I steamed some seafood and used your Citrus Herb Butter to top it off before sealing it in foil and placing it on the grill. I cannot believe how well the butter balanced itself with the filets. The lemony and herb finish was spectacular without being overpowering. Even the kids loved it! Great products, keep em\' coming, we'll be back for more!

Compound Butters - Roasted Red PepperFirst of all, I'm not a gourmet cook....but I am a gourmet eater! There always seems to be a gap between a meal I love to eat, and what I am willing to prepare. After trying several dishes and recipes with these new gourmet butters, I need to make these a staple in my refrigerator. The Chicken Saltimbocca with Red Bell Pepper Butter was such a big hit the first time I served it to family and friends, and so simple to prepare, that I had to make it again for other friends a few days later when they heard about it. I've used the garlic chive butter on steaks, the cinnamon molasses butter on apple crumb cakes and the garlic parmesan butter on pasta for side dishes. These prepared butters are versatile and delicious and it's really fun coming up with new ways to use them. Last night I made a pork tenderloin roast with an apple cinnamon molasses butter sauce that rocked the house...(at least that's what the kids were saying). I can't wait to try some of the other flavored butters...despite a hectic schedule, I think I'm becoming a mad scientist in the kitchen once again!

Compound Butters - Pesto BasilWe LOVE your products! One of our early favorites is to use the pest/basil and the sundried tomatoe butters in a sauce that goes over cheese tortellini with zucchini and pine nuts. Our kids\' favorite is the cinammin/molasses butter on coffee cake or banana pancakes. Your products are amazing. Currently we are enjoying some new flavors that we hadn\'t tried yet. OK...I have found heaven.  I sauteed in olive oil some large shrimp.  I topped the shrimp with the garlic parmesan butter. This shrimp then topped my lettuce, apple, pecan, and bleu cheese salad with balsamic dressing.  I think I have died and gone to heaven!!  The garlic parmesan interacts with the balsamic dressing and bleu cheese to make my mouth feel like a symphony is playing on my taste buds. MMMMMMMM Good.

Compound Butters - Sun Dried TomatoWhile at the San Ramon Farmers Market I was amongst the privileged to taste a sample of the gourmet butters. After choosing my favorite which was the Sun Dried Tomato I went home where my mother and I Prepared a Citrus Salmon with Orange Relish and a Penne w/lemon, asparagus, & cheese on the side. We had a Pinot Grigio white wine 2008 and for the appetizer we had the Sun Dried Tomato butter on Petit toasts. It was absolutely amazing; a perfect starter before salmon and so good with the white wine. We have now decided to make it our goal in trying all the flavors of Gourmet Butters. It will be most delightful to continue our business with the Gourmet Butters making a meal fit for a Queen.

Compound Butters - Orange GingerMy initial purchase were garlic/parmessan and garlic/chives. I''ve used both and love it in my vegetables. The butter is so delicious that I sometime find myself eating straight out of the tube. I went back this past weekend and purchased orange/ginger - this too was heavenly. You can use any of these butters for anything, as I do. I was told the company will begin shipping within U.S., by September 2009. Once you've tasted these butters you wont want to be without them.
