Basic Sauce Recipe for Savory Gourmet Butters

Ingredients
1 cup of vegetable, seafood or chicken stock
1 tablespoon dry white wine
1 tablespoon cornstarch
4 ounces of Gourmet Butter (flavor of your choice)
Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
Preparation
- In a small saucepan bring the stock to a boil.
- In a separate bowl combine the wine and cornstarch until mixture is smooth.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the stock using a whisk mixing it until thoroughly combined.
- Remove from heat. Whisk in the Gourmet Butter. Add pepper to taste if desired.
- This warm sauce is ready to serve with your favorite entrée.
